The training is aimed at all those who seek to deepen their relationship with nature through an expansion of scientific thinking.

Goethe's scientific method is based on the direct experience of phenomena, which, through active thinking and experience, leads to deeper insights into the dynamic interrelationships between nature and humanity. Research findings from anthroposophical work can serve as an important guide in this process.

The training program was founded by Ruth Mandera and Jan Albert Rispens in collaboration with the Natural Sciences Section of the Free University for Spiritual Science Goetheanum Dornach/Switzerland.

The PETRARCA Academy, represented by Sonja Schürger and Jean-Michel Florin , primarily supports projects that strive to describe the complex, changing wholeness of a landscape, its diversity and identity in a comprehensible way as a starting point for development and maintenance in harmony with the potential of the place.

The overarching goal of the training is the independent and methodically reflective handling of a view of nature that is expanded to include a Goethean-anthroposophical perspective.

The training lasts at least three years and is not tied to a specific location.
